Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (MCEA) is a non-profit organization established in 1981 that provides real solutions that help rebuild families during times of crisis. These are residents throughout the county whose health and well-being are threatened by an unexpected crisis or need.
Over 10,000 individually numbered rubber ducks will be dropped down the 2 story waterslide at the aquatic center pool on the 4th of July. The ducks swim their way through the lazy river to the finish line for exciting prizes! if your duck has the preselected number chosen prior to the race and finishes in the top 10, you win a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, sponsored by Buckalew Chevrolet of Conroe!
All funding from duck adoptions and this fundraising event benefit our programs and allow MCEA to help families with rent, utilities, LifeSkills, and basic necessities. Your involvement through volunteerism, duck purchases, or prize donations will go a long way to benefit these families.

MCEA is excited about our 2013 Great American Duck Race presented by Entergy, July 4th at 3pm at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center in the Village of Creekside Park in The Woodlands. Ducks are available for adoption now by clicking the adopt-a-link below. You or your organization can adopt a duck for as little as $5 or adopt a quack pack, which consists of 6 for $25.00.
